The animal welfare group has announced a huge increase in the number of abandoned dogs in miniature of its centers.

According to experts, the hypothesis that small breeds are less demanding than large dogs allowed owners to dump their pets.

Blue Cross charity has seen a series of so-called "handbag dogs were allowed to go up to 53 in 2006 to 177 in the last 12 months.

Ryan Neile animal behavior experts said: "People think that because discount chanel handbags sale are small, require less exercise and mental stimulation, but this is often not the case.

"All dogs need adequate means for their behavior, otherwise you might get bored, frustrated or stressed, which could cause behavioral problems such as destructive at home."

Mr Neil said that although dogs are small enough to take anywhere, they must be left to walk on earth.

"Because of their size, people forget that they are still dogs and need to be treated and respect. People can pick up and kiss them and hug them and go with it, because they have no choice.

"Despite their size, they are still dogs and should not be denied the opportunity to participate in the normal dog behavior in the field."
